Red Speckled Beans, also commonly known as Sugar Beans, are a versatile and nutritious legume.
Sugar Beans are low in fat but high in protein content, cholesterol-free, and high in dietary fiber.
Preparation Instructions:
Rinse dried sugar beans and soaked in cold water for several hours or overnight to rehydrate them and reduce cooking time.
Drain, rinse, and simmer in fresh water or broth until tender (about 1 and 2 hours).
Serve cooked sugar beans as a savoury samp and bean stew or bean and vegetable stew.
